HANDMADE IN TEXAS · BUILT TO BE USED

Straightforward knives
for real work.

Hunting, fishing, camping, and everyday knives. Made by hand. One at a time.

WHY I MAKE KNIVES

“I think there are two kinds of knives: very usable utility knives, or art knives more suited for a display case. While my knives are good-looking and attractive, I want them to be used. Take one to camp and brag to the other members about what a good-looking knife you have—then show them how sharp and useful it is. My vision is to make high-quality, very durable, very usable, straightforward knives in a style that appeals to the user.”

— Gene DuBois, Maker

THE BUILD PROCESS

No mystery. Just good work.

Every knife is built in the shop by one set of hands, with practical decisions made at every step.

01

Talk it through

How you hunt, fish, cook, or work determines the knife—not the other way around.

02

Shape the steel

American made steel. The profile and bevels are ground to the end user's specifications. It is professionally heat treated and tempered for a hard working edge.

03

Fit the handle

Each handle is custom fit and shaped by hand to ensure balance and a sure grip, even when the job gets wet or cold.

04

Sharpen & sheath

The edge is hand finished for a wicked sharp edge, and the sheath is custom made to house your wicked sharp knife.

FROM THE SHOP & THE FIELD
